Meaghan MacMaster is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (Canada) and a Chartered Professional in Human Resources. She has more than 15 years of experience working with international companies, including roles in Human Resources within a federally regulated trucking company, as well as in both unionized and non-unionized provincially regulated workplaces. She now advises employers across Canada on the scope of their rights and responsibilities in their relationships with employees and unions. Sheila Mecking is a bilingual partner with our Fredericton office, and she has been involved in workplace investigation files since her call to the Bar in 2013. As a management-side labour, employment, and human rights lawyer, Sheila focuses on workplace investigations in French and English. She holds the Osgoode Advanced Certificate in Workplace Investigations and has experience with a diverse group of clients including crown corporations, non-profits, educational institutions, municipalities, airports, school boards, and professional firms across Canada. Sheila applies practical approaches and preventative measures to assist clients with any issues related to the workplace. |

May 7 & 8, 2026 This onsite two-day course offers a comprehensive examination of workplace investigations, covering relevant legislation, clarifying the scope of investigation mandates, and providing instruction on effective interview techniques and report writing. Participants will be provided with a certification in Workplace Investigations through the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources New Brunswick Association.
