Our Emcee, Pierre Battah, is an award-winning author, leadership and HR specialist, and long-time workplace columnist for CBC/Radio-Canada.

A TEDx presenter and former senior HR executive, he has also taught management at Mount Allison University. His book Humanity at Work, Leading for Better Relationships and Results won Gold at the Nautilus Book Awards. He is an executive in residence at UNB’s Wallace McCain Institute for entrepreneurial leadership and a passionate advocate for better organizational leadership and healthy workplaces.

Pierre was recently named a Fellow Chartered Professional in HR, the profession’s highest distinction and he is also a recipient of Rotary International’s Paul Harris Award for outstanding contribution to his community.
